March 1st, 2007: Welcome to the new webpage for Bead A Little Dream! The idea for this page has been brewing for about a year and a half and it is great to finally see it running! Please bear with me in the first few weeks for working out all of the kinks and typos. And feel free to email me with any questions or suggestions. I have been beading for as long as I can remember, but I started selling my beaded jewelry in the early 1990’s. I also have had a great fascination with glass since a very young age, partially due to the location in which I lived. Every day the school bus passed Pilgrim Glass, a glass blowing factory that I visited many times as a child. Then, as a college student, I had the opportunity to take glass blowing. I believe that the basics I learned during that time are still used during my time at the torch making my own lampwork beads. All of my jewelry is made with quality items such as Sterling and Fine silver, Swarovski crystals, and natural stones. The pieces on my site are available now, but there are some opportunities for custom work. Please e-mail me to make a custom request. All of the lampwork beads are made by me on a “Hot Head” torch of mostly Italian soft glass and are properly kiln annealed in my AIM 84BD! So come in, have fun, and check back often for updates! |
